5.  Litigation

Litigation services are deployed to support work on the right to health including reproductive health services and general access issues affecting key populations. Litigation challenges restrictive laws, criminal laws and policies that hinder access to health services and meaningful enjoyment of the right to health. All legal work is provided pro-bono including litigating such issues as competition, essential drugs/medicines and regulations. Our litigation seeks to promote equity and quality services including access to justice for patients whenever their interests and needs are harmed by service providers.
